The Cookie the Clown Story
Cookie the Magic Clown has delighted children with a combination of fun, theatricality and warmth that engages young spectators. Having attended Wheelock College, a well respected school specializing in early childhood education, and having received a BFA in Theatre from the University of Rhode Island, along with 29 years of making kids happy have made her a seasoned professional.
Birthday Party Shows
Cookie's birthday party show combines clowning and magic in a fun-filled performance to make any young child's day even more special. The birthday child is called up and helps Cookie for the grand finale which includes a surprise magical production of ... sorry it's a surprise! This act is designed to keep the attention of kids aged three to eight. Combined with balloon art, the show runs between 45 minutes to an hour. This magical performance is ideal for up to 20 children.
School and Company Events
Company events and school functions are a great place for Cookie the Magic Clown. She gears her show for young children, engaging them to watch magic tricks with strong storylines that appeal to the imagination of kids. A colorful entertainer, Cookie's highly visual presentation adds to the celebratory event.
Balloon Art
Cookie's balloon has been praised as artistic fascinating and fun at the same time. Watching balloons being transformed into flowers, animals, hats and cartoon characters interests both young and old alike.
Afraid of Clowns?
If you feel that your audience is not one who enjoys a white-faced clown character, Cookie can come in disguise as Arlene the Magic Lady. This show is still as much fun but also allows older kids to laugh and participate without feeling "too old." Arlene the Balloon Artiste is a sparkly dressed, friendly lady that can entertain at an event that doesn't call for a costumed character
